I know there's a forum post already set-up for this but I haven't gotten any help from submitting tickets. I purchased it in 2018 and would like to play the game I paid for. If there's a specific ticket for just dead space 2 or a specific channel I haven't been down id like to know about it. Any help would be awesome. Thank you.Dead Space 2 Remake
So EA decided to say no to a Dead Space 2 remake because the Dead Space 1 remake didn’t sell as well as they wanted. What irritates me is Dead Space 1 remake didn’t sell as well as it should have because EA barely marketed the game. A lot of people didn’t even know it was being made or even came out. Had EA actually put some effort into marketing it and caring about it, I guarantee it would have sold much better. There is still a huge market for Dead Space. If there wasn’t, then games like Resident Evil wouldn’t sell as well as they do. And Dead Space 1 remake continues to sell as we speak because people are buying it used, downloading it, etc. EA isn’t tracking it anymore, so to them, no one is playing it. I don’t understand having control over a beloved IP and caring so little about it. Dead Space 2 is great, but it absolutely could use the remake treatment. If for no other reason, than to help the game live on and be able to be played for a long time to come on newer systems. And now that Dead Space 1 remake has been out for a few years and has been played, a Dead Space 2 remake would sell much better because people are actually aware of its existance. EA is their own worst enemy, I swear. They’ll never be a good company. The only hope is the recent management changes and Glenn Scholfield trying to talk to them about doing another Dead Space. Just makes me sick when companies forget about or barely do anything with good IPs, like Sony with Bloodborne. I get that the gaming industry is a business but you’ve got to have some connection to gaming; to your consumers. You’re leaving money on the table, EA. Do better.72Views0likes0CommentsDead Space 2 Loading screen error
On load up the screen flickers, Im using game pass and the EA store doesnt recognise as Dead space 2 being in my library and force closes the game saying "its a problem on our end." It looks like to play the game everyone has to manually ask for EA to add it to their account as it doesnt do it for Game pass. Its the weekend, please I want to play the game I payed for.SolvedEA says I don't own DS2 when I do.
Back in 2013 I bought DS2 Collectors Edition. EA Library shows that I own the Standard Edition, no matter how often I input the Collectors Edition key. Worse, whenever I try to install it from the EA app, it tells me that I don't own the game. Yet, it is in my Library. It tells me to go Game Hub and get it from there as I removed it from my Library a few years ago. Nothing I do convinces the app that I own the game, even though it appears in my Library and says Standard Edition owned. HELP!Attn: EA Support - Request to remove game from EA App PC Library - Dead Space 2
Since EA has made it nearly impossible to get through to their support staff and the fact that I have requested this numerous times, perhaps someone on here can direct me to EA Staff or moderators that may be able to help with my request. I have spent countless hours troubleshooting with EA Support Staff over the past couple of years trying to get my copy of DEAD SPACE 2 in my EA App library on PC to install with absolutely no success. I have asked/requested many times for EA Support Staff to permanently remove the game from my EA App library, as I cannot get it to install and run. I cannot even repurchase the game as it is listed as owned in my library, but as it stands its pointless having the game there if it won't install. Each time I have been told by EA Support Staff that they have escalated my request to their appropriate team to follow up and remove my game and each time they fail to do anything about it. So if someone from EA Support or a moderator could possibly forward my request to someone who might actually be able to fulfill this request it would be greatly appreciated.129Views0likes2CommentsDead Space 2 - is there any achıvement on the game?
I started Dead Space 2 on Steam, but I noticed that there were no achievements, so I looked on EA Games and my game was not visible there. Even though I entered the CD key, it did not accept it. In short, I want to know if there are Dead Space 2 achievements. Unfortunately, I cannot look at them on EA. I would appreciate it if you could help me.Dead space 2 cd key activation limit exceeded

I'd like to share my opinion on EA’s handling of the Dead Space franchise. We already know what happened with Visceral Games, and also much of what the company expected from the title itself. I’d say the president at the time was somewhat misguided when it came to survival horror games. This obsession with sales numbers has never really sat well with me, even for the most well-known titles like Resident Evil 4, whose sales figures aren't that impressive when compared to a multiplayer war FPS like Battlefield or Call of Duty. If there’s one thing the Dead Space franchise has, it’s critical acclaim. I think that alone was enough to solidify it as a cult classic in the genre. It made its impact, made noise, and still teaches lessons in several aspects of the genre, with a unique identity. But beyond that, we need to understand that certain strategies just shouldn’t be expected from a game like this—especially when a company tries to aim for something almost impossible within the genre, except in very specific cases. That said, a Dead Space 2 remake would be more than welcome. Not just because of the reimagining with modern visuals, but because of the potential it carries—particularly in terms of atmosphere, narrative construction, and world-building. Yes, a Dead Space 2 remake could be the foundation for a fully explorable version of the Sprawl, which was already a massive setting, even though it was linear in the original. What makes me think about this is the sheer size of the Sprawl and how many side missions could be created to deepen the lore of the outbreak and its characters—just as the Ishimura was given more freedom with its interconnected design. That same logic makes me believe the scale could be far greater, adding new bosses and enemy types, as well as expanding on hallucination sequences and improving existing boss fights like the Stalker. Just imagine that interconnected world like the Ishimura, now expanded into a semi-open world that gradually unlocks, giving you the choice to revisit areas as access codes are found. That alone would elevate the atmosphere to an unprecedented scale. So a Dead Space 2 remake project could very well become one of the most ambitious survival horror remakes in history. And of course, with that level of change, creation, and design, it would take quite a long time to develop. I can’t imagine EA greenlighting it and expecting a quick release. It would likely be something aimed for the next generation of consoles, precisely due to its potential. Let’s not forget that Visceral created the original sequel in just three years after the first game. The difference today is that to make a truly great game, development would have to be on a much bigger scale. I also think that, if possible, EA should think about a very smart and strategic marketing plan, especially in times when the game could benefit from a proper hype cycle. It’s easy to see that the marketing strategy for the 2023 Dead Space remake wasn’t the most favorable—mainly due to competing titles. Still, it was a critically acclaimed remake. I’d also love to see them invest in natural lighting techniques, avoiding overreliance on ray tracing, while giving proper focus to optimization. But anyway, this is just a fan’s wish!218Views0likes0Comments
