Dead Space 3 don't launch on my computer

Dead Space 3 don't launch on my computer

I recently wanted to play again at Dead Space 3, but even if this was working about many months ago, this doesn't work anymore.
When I launch the game, the link2EA window open, with nothing written in it, and then just shut it down and the game don't launch.

I've tried:

- Updating the graphic drivers

- Disabling all overlays and material acceleration on discord, ea play and steam
- Manually changing game resolution to fit to my screen

- Changing compatibility settings

- Launch EA Play and Steam and Dead Space 3 in administrator

- Launching the game after a clean boot of windows

- Changing screen resolution to "fit" to my screen

- Verifying there is no applications like MSI afterburner that prevent the game to launch

- Looking in the reliability monitor if there is any trace of a malfunction of deadspace.exe

None of this worked, and I'm actually out of ideas.

About my configuration, I have this:

Windows 10 Professional 21H2

NVIDIA Geforce GTX 970

Intel Core i5-4590

H97M-E ASUSTeK motherboard

Hoping someone can help me.

The problem is now fixed !
The icon of the EA app has changed, so I give it a try to relaunch the game to see if this was miraculously fixed. And so the EA app ask me administration rights for the game, and i accepted it, and the game launched.

It seems that there was a bug with the EA link app or something when there is no explicite administration right asked by the EA app, but now it's fixed.

    Have all a good day.

@Blood_of_wolf after hours of research i found out i need the EA app , it will uninstall origins since steam uses EA instead of origins now
  • @WhosSwilson I'm happy to ear that worked for you, but I already uninstalled Origin and using EA app instead of it. But thanks for you to answer in this thread to try to help me !

I am having this exact same problem. I'm currently trying to load up the game to play with my partner and it does exactly as shown in your YouTube clip. I've tried every fix I can find between Reddit, other websites, and these forums, with zero luck thus far. Any assistance with this issue would be wonderful.

@HellTrasher64 Do you get any messages from Windows about allowing the game to launch?

You can right-click on the exe file and run as admin to see if that works as well.

Change UAC Controls within Windows (change back once tested)

  • I am facing the same issues. The game will launch from the EA app and a pop asking for permissions will appear. I click "ok" and the game tries to launch. It takes a quick second to seem like it starts but then cuts back to the EA app with an error, "Failed to Launch Game: An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later.". I have tried the following:

    1. Temporarily turned off Windows Security and Firewall
    2. Provide Firewall and Security Permissions to EA App and Dead Space Executable
    3. Updated the Graphics card
    4. Delete EA app Cache
    5. Repair Game
    6. Uninstall the EA app and launch the game
    7. Re-install the EA app
    8. Reinstall the game
    9. Modified Exploit Protection for Dead Space 3
    10. Game Full Permissions to Permission Accounts in the security tab of the properties of both executables
    11. Turned off UAC
    12. All this while running the EA App and Dead Space as an Administrator

I am not sure what else I can do.

Blood_of_wolf EA_Shepard How did you get the app icon to change? I do get the permission pop up window.
