Dead Space 3 Save Problem

When I load up a saved game in Dead Space 3, I do not end up in the exact place I save and exit, nor do I start anywhere near my last location. Can you please fix this problem?

Same problem; tram station, get on tram, played for a couple of hours, save and quit, back at tram station. PC.
