Dead Space Remake. Cannot find new suit after equipping another.

I unlocked and equipped the soldiers suit for Isaac after beating the game the first time.
I equipped another suit at the store and now the soldiers suit is nowhere to be found in storage.

Luckily I saved the game before and the suit wasn’t lost. Anyone else have this problem ?
