Dead Space remake: inifinite death loop

I was trapped in infinite dying loop in Dead Space remake on PS5. I've searched this forum but could not find similar issue and resolution. It appears that Isaac is killed instantly during the load...

    Hi, 

    switch off your Controller while starting the Game. This Trick worked for me 🙂

      Thanks.
      This worked for me.
      One needs to keep the controller switch off until the menu is shown up.

      I think this trick is just a workaround and the issue should be patched

    Hi Everyone, 

    Thanks for letting us know about your experience with Dead Space. Can you try closing out of the game completely (and from a quick resume on consoles) and then launching it again?

    You should get a main menu to continue from, instead select an older save and check if you can play from there.

      This did not fix the issue.
