@TheGamingArt Hey there, edited my post to clarify that it is not supported in Dead Space on Windows.
@Philfycasual So this is occurring for all Vibration full stop? Ok this sounds a bit off, let me look into it further on my side.
Dualsense does not work in anyway using the ea app version of dead space even though you can see the image of it in game.
Some information on how I got haptics with DualSense working on my PC but this is the Steam version but apparently someone told me this is just Xbox vibration not haptics but it’s good enough for me and totally increased immersion
I have an Elite series 2 controller so in steam input I have Xbox and Xbox extended support as well as PlayStation support for my DualSense. I almost bought this game on ps5 for DualSense but since I have a 4090 pc would be much better.
With steam input disabled you get PlayStation button prompts no vibration nothing.
But I found if i just leave all my control configs enabled and steam input active I got Xbox button prompts but I was able to feel trigger haptics and vibration im not sure how but I’m playing it this way and tested this on a DualSense Edge a regular DualSense. Even the paddles work on the edge when mapped on the ps5 first.
I don’t know if anyone can confirm this works for them?

- Philfycasual3 years agoNew Traveler@EA_Leeuw This is also being discussed in another post, but it's lacking any sort of vibration/haptic features. You'd expect the DualSense haptics and adaptive triggers to be a thing in the PC version considering the DualSense image appears in the control scheme (and the correct button prompts, etc), but you don't even get basic vibration functionality.
The entire controller does not work, it may work on steam but I am using the ea desktop app.

@Philfycasual, that is indeed the reason why I specifically asked if it is the controller in general or only some specific features. 🙂 I assume that you mean this thread?
@battle_swagger45, are you trying to use it wirelessly, or via the original USB-C cable?
He means that there is no problem with the basic game function, but he wants to experience the tactile feedback and adaptive trigger of the PS5 terminal on the PC. Now many cross-platform games support adaptive trigger on the PC. I hope you can provide an update to support these functions. We will be very grateful.
Steam version of the dead space lacks tactile feedback and adaptive trigger function supporting dualsense!
Many games on PC platforms now support the adaptive trigger function of dualsense. Because many players have PCs with better performance than PS5. However, we still want to experience the native handle functions on the PS5 platform, such as tactile feedback and adaptive trigger. I hope you can consider these features in the update. After all, ea's works are perfect works of art made by advanced technology, not the semi-finished products like The Callisto Protocol.
I tried both wireless and wired, the game detects both but doesnt work
