How do I disable voice chat in Dead Space 3?

is there a way to control the voice chat in the co-op game in dead space 3 or can I disable Voice

There doesn't seem to be any way to configure it.

There's a mute option when you set up the lobby for co-op.  Create games that way instead of joining mid-play.
