[Old Report] Dead Space 2 - How to remove DLC?

Hello,

there is a All-Weapons-for-free-DLC included in my copy of DS2, and I would like to remove it because it just destroys the immersion of the game.

How can I do that?

Thanks!

    Solved it:

Replace the deadspace2.exe with one from the version 1.0. [Removed - Admin.]

I also tried that but I got a system error and the game said I was missing activation.x86.dll . You don't seem to have that problem. How exactly did you replace the file? Maybe I accidently did something wrong?

The exe file on web is for steam version. Maybe he somehow get the exe file for origin? In any case, we need an assistance about deactivating dlc's please.

They are not giving us the assistance. It seems that they want us to play with the DLC. It feels like they are forcing us to play with the DLC! *GASP!*

    It's a unitologist conspiracy! 😕mileysurprised:

    Solution removed by Admin.

Also, speculation exists that this solution will now result in an activation.x86.dll error. It most certainly did that with me.

We used to be able to download Dead Space 2 v.1 from Origin, with the option to update it to v1.1 version or not. What the heck happened, Origin/EA?
