Let me explain what happened from start to finish.I accessed the DLC menu for the first time at a workbench. I was checking it out and scrolling through the different menu's. I found the page where you spend ration seals. There was only 1 option for some kind of elite package that required 30 rations. I only had 27, so obviously I didn't have enough so I closed the menu and kept playing the game.I find another workbench, after I finally get 30 ration seals. Here's the bug: The ration seal option is simply gone now. I cannot spend my 31 rations as the option itself simply isn't there in the DLC menu at any workbench I've accessed in the game. I've tried 4 or 5 different workbench and none of them allow me to spend my 31 ration seals because the option is no longer available. It's simply gone from the menu's and it only has real-money options (Which I do not support and will never spend real money on, F.Y.i).-Edit- 60% game completed now, 90+ Ration Seals and I still cannot spend them. Why is there no word from developers about this ???I did a Live-chat with EA support and they told me to report this here, as a bug.

Do you have any future plans to allow Humble Bundle buyers to use Ration Seals, or do you just expect us to pay actual money? I was going to buy all of the DLC, but seeing as how I can't use Ration Seals to buy the cheapest DLC, I have changed my mind about the rest of the DLC. I'm sure I'm not the only one that's sorely disappointed in your decision to discourage potential DLC purchasers. That's a lot of money you're missing out on.Update - Last night (Aug 20), after an hour or so on the phone (Use the "Call me" option, DO NOT USE THE LIVE CHAT OPTION UNLESS YOU WANT TO WAIT HOURS AND HOURS), they compensated me by basically giving me what basically amounted to the $15 gear DLC, minus an item or two, PLUS a few weapons that weren't in it. Unfortunately, the weapons are only good in the early chapters, and the suits are purely cosmetic, with the exception of an arctic suit that doesn't have that silly fur. If I could make my N7 suit cold-proof, I would. That thing is so sweet.Anyways, they told me the Ration Seals problem is being worked on, and could take as long as 3-6 weeks. Basically, they're hoping people forget about it.I have 176 seals that will not forget. That's just from a few days of playing. 3-6 weeks should give me about 836558421 seals.So anyway, AT LEAST they're making an effort to appease players (those guns are pretty sweet in the early game, and make for some good Tungsten/Resources later on), but I still doubt they're gonna fix the actual problem.

@alexromanoidI did get it to work, after posting the video you got in the email reply, (it's not on youtube anymore), but you missed a step, for the Steam version.To make this work with the Steam version, follow the steps below:1. Remove EA Origin from startup, and close the app, if it's open.2. Download the EA App for Windows Beta at https://www.ea.com/ea-app-beta install it, and login3. Go to the game's install folder (typically C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dead Space 3), find deadspace3.exe, right-click > Send to > Desktop (As shortcut)4. With the EA Beta running, launch the game from the newly created shortcut, and enjoy spending your ration seals.

I'm having the same problem, and no one else who I've talked to has been able to successfully use the ration seals to buy anything from the DLC shop they either forgot to put it in there or just didn't add it to the PC version to piss us off.

I can't access the DLC options from the benches nor the main menu. It just says "Unable to retrieve information from Origin. Please check your connection and try again.". Anyone else facing this problem?:manfrustrated:

I'm having the same problem, and no one else who I've talked to has been able to successfully use the ration seals to buy anything from the DLC shop they either forgot to put it in there or just didn't add it to the PC version to piss us off.

I'm having the exact same problem. I went into the BENCH and went to DLC and saw that i could use rations to buy some of the DLC and thought cool, by the time i got to the next bench and tried to spend them the whole spend your rations option disappeared.

Hmm I'm also frustrated over this. Perhaps EA just needs a little more time to get their **bleep** together, hopefully.

I didn't even know this was an option. I have never seen a place to spend ration seals, I just assumed I hadn't got to that part of the game yet.
I am running Windows 7 Ultimate.

I assume it would be on the Downloadable Content menu, but seeing as I still can't access it, I don't even know if I can or cannot spend my Seals.

Having the same problem - already finished the game once on PC - got around 250 ratio seals - and couldnt even spend them.....

The DLC Store (in-game) works again...but only 2 items show up, which you can buy with real money, not with Ration Seals. This is getting derpy, EA...
Where are the Items, purchase-able with Ration Seals, which showed up earlier?
