Seems like the problem has been fixed. At work benches I can now use ration seals. HOWEVER, they only work on 2 items and nothing else (or at least that's all that's showing now). They are specially made packs so that you still have to pay real $ for the rest.

Wtf? I'm pretty sure they said you could get anything with the ration seals that was supposed to be in this menu and that the pay-option was only for mobile morons or instant-gratifcation morons.

And an even more widespread snce the Origin Humble Bundle.
My problem is every time I try to access the DLC menu at a bench, the game crashes and the odd time I can actually access it I can't spend seals. I found a workaround that worked for me that I posted in another thread, I'll post it here in the hopes it helps someone.
Ok, I found a workaround. If you have a friend you trust with your password and who can access the DLC menu at the bench, email your save file to them (after you've both backed up your saves) have them replace their save with yours, log into origin with your credentials and they can spend the seals, save and quit and email the save file back to you. You shouldn't have to do that, but ah well. It worked for me.
i'd try that, but i dont actually know anyone who still comes online that doesnt have the ration seals bug ._.
