@Fred_vdp so,no solution then. I have seen the mass effect one but they dont offer a solid solution

Try to repair the game.

(Origin > Game Library > right click Dead space 2 > Repair)
(Steam > Game Library > right click at Dead space 2 > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)

If that not helps, create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that  with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.
