Dead space 2 won't launch and gives black screem

Hello everyone, I tried playing dead space 2 yesterday and it launched as normal. After it opened it asked me to fill in my EA account details but i play with a controller on pc and it did not con...

This was originally posted in the Mass Effect forum. Since there doesn't appear to be a Dead Space forum, I moved it to Other EA Games.

    @Fred_vdp so,no solution then. I have seen the mass effect one but they dont offer a solid solution

      @KamiDZ 

      Try to repair the game.

      (Origin > Game Library > right click Dead space 2 > Repair)
      (Steam > Game Library > right click at Dead space 2 > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)

      If that not helps, create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that  with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.
