You are not alone. I am older guy, too, 57 and I am stuck on the same place. Somehow not fair that You can beat monsters, but cannot beat mini game and to open door. I doubt that finger pattern would be some use, because I think ,if You are watching keyboard when typing , You've already lost. I was reading that these puzzles became more difficult with every chapter. What I can recommend: let the other person do mouse or wsad part, to slow computer by running some serious program i.e. benchmarking tool , but there , possible is some risk to fry Your computer. I am not doing for the time being this with mine. Good luck at the door, but I am thinking , life is too short to spend remaining days at this place 😉

Thanks for the input. its really appreciated. i have found a solution similar to the one you mentioned. my son is coming home for Christmas and i will get him to help me with the puzzle. I see your an early riser...so am i... im from Texas (the hill country) How bout you? any way thanks for the info... if i finally get through i will let you know... and Merry Christmas
