That is understandable. Ive spent more than my fair share of time in this series. Sadly, removing anything from Steam goes way beyond what a Community Manager is responsible for. That is not something we can do. I will pass along that request for you, though. I agree; if you cannot obtain it, it should not be there.

But that's not only Steam issue. These achievements aren't working in EA app also. That should add some weight to decision makers I hope

Just delete them, please:

1. Survivalist
2. Aren't You Thankful?
3. Pure Lunacy (DLC)
4. Supercharger (DLC)

Would you be able to let management know that the community is asking to delete broken achievements? As you can see people are quite active and for the company would be a huge plus to show people that they hear us and take care of the community.

I know this is not a job for him But, Any Updates?

If i knew this before, I would not have started Dead Space 3. 

It's a good game, but was not an last option.

Wanted to drop in any give an update on this. I reached out to see what was happening, and from a backend standpoint, this is something that will not be fixed at the moment.

There is apparently more happening in the background than the team has looked at, but they have not been able to update this issue.

There is no ETA when this may get updated. I k now it isn't the update we wanted but they cant pull more resources at this time to get these updated along with the other updates they are working on.

If that changes, we will let you all know!

I got these 2 achievements the other day. First I played the regular game, then Survival mode (got the achievement), then Classic mode (didn't get the achievement), then Hardcore (got the achievement). After getting the achievement for Hardcore mode, I replayed the final chapter in Classic mode, but still didn't get the achievement. As a result, the only achievement in the standard game (without DLC) that I could not get was - “Epic tier 4 Engineer”.

Please fix this crap...

Your community puts forward completely legitimate demands and requests. There is a % of players who replay games many times, to get 100% of achievements in each, and I am one of those players. We spend a huge amount of time on this, and what do we get in return? The inability to get all the achievements. I am convinced that many players will support what I will write now.

WE PAID MONEY FOR A FULL-FLEDGED GAME, NOT FOR A BROKEN ONE!

Название достижения, которое невозможно получить:

1. Близкий контакт
Убейте 10 инопланетных некроморфов.

2. Топоры High
Убейте 30 врагов, используя топоры Fodder.

Btw, Ubisoft recently added achievements from their games in Uplay to Steam and in case you already achieved them in Uplay they will be transfered to Steam automatically. I wasn't expecting that at all, I was thinking that they doing it just to force achievement hunters to complete their games ones more through Steam. 

So, Ubisoft's reputation grew a in my eyes 🙂

Why is the achievement unobtainable?
Aren't you thankful: I finished the game both alone and with a friend, but they didn't give me an achievement.
Supercharger: I tried on different difficulties and game modes. I was both a host and joined a friend. But it didn't work out(

This all started happening after the 'Brave new world' achievement was removed, as people mentioned already
