Save game corrupted?

What version are you playing? (ie. PC, PS3, XBox)
I'm new to this forum, but I've already encountered two others who had this issue on the PS3 version.
PC version. (sorry, i thought when it asked me it would take me to platform specific.
Unfortunately, there is no platform specific forum. It however does make the guessing game more challenging.
On to your problem...When you first played the game, did you install from media such as a DVD? The reason I ask is that you would have had the original version and I believe the game has been patched since release. If you have the original disc, I would try uninstalling and installing again from the DVD to see if your saved games work again. If they do, we at least would know that your saves aren't corrupt; they just don't work with the newer version.
It might be good to try it as a test, then allow Origin to update the game afterwards and try again. Some people have had to revert to earlier versions on the consoles as well to access their saves and then redownload the DLC.
I downloaded from origin within the first couple days, i guess maybe oncce i got online it patched itself?
