Deck Systems Keycard is not working

Literally, getting the Deck Systems Keycard and interacting with the circuit breaker does not proceed to the next step. If you reconnect the game or recall it from the last checkpoint, it remains the same. Who's like me?

    Found a fix that may work for you. I had this same issue, and reinstalling on an SSD did not solve it. If you're able to get the Keycard, but nothing happens when you interact with the circuit breaker, try spamming the stomp at the same time you try to insert the Keycard. it took a second for it to work for me, but its the only fix I've found. If stomping doesn't work, I've also heard plugging in the taking out the battery at the same time as trying to activate the Keycard may work.

    I hope this solves it for you, and I hope they patch this bug soon.

    Same here.  I pick up the keycard, go to use it and it does nothing.  Reloaded checkpoint and a previous save.  Did not resolve.

    * buggin me.. got it to work once then died, now im *. hopefully i can rattle a god damn way into the next door. trynna play impossible and this * wont open

    As insane as it sounds this was an absolute fix! Just switch interact to space bar for a split second and BOOM!

    Hello same problem, started 2 day's back when getting towards relevant goal in game, decided to play the chapter again test if problem recurs, and it did exact same way others tell it.

    PC - Acer Predator PO3-630
    Monitor Lenovo Y25-25

    System processor: 11th. Gen Intel(R)Core(TM) i7-11700F@2.50GHz, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070
    Windows 11, version 22H2
    Installed RAM 16GB

    I shall attempt the fixes mentioned in comments.

    I think this problem occurs if you attempt to use the keycard before you put the power core in to the door. 

    Pressing space bar instead of E resolves the issue. Thanks for that solution to the previous poster.
