    Hey, @Gr1mSh0ck. With this error, we have to check the code itself. You don't need to use DS2; you can use any account-related or code-related option instead. When they speak to you, they will change it anyway. You only need to talk to one of them.

    I have contacted EA support twice and both times I have been told they no longer have access to the ability to reset my activations and are told to contact steam. 

    I have contacted steam and was told I have to contact EA support so I am stuck with a dead game that I have owned for 12 years with no options.

      @Gr1mSh0ck I am afraid that would be incorrect. Steam cannot alter those codes in any way. We can change the DRM on it for more activations. I checked. I wish this were something we could do over the forums. 

      What I would suggest is contacting support again and having it escalated. The person you spoke with may not have known we can but we can do it.

        I need help I'm talking with support now and they are telling me they can't reset it. Same issue as OP.
