In chapter 13, you have to "Reunite with ellie".
In order to get to her you have to kill a GIant Spider boss, and he wont die... me and my friend are playing co-op and cant figure out how to kill him. We use the harpoons and i have a pain in my fingers from spaming the "F".

How can we get past this bug ?

(We used hours already)

Still having issues with Drill Sergeant Trophy for PS3...I've done this so many times and STILL do not have it. Someone please assist in this matter because I will NOT be able to Platinum this game without this Trophy and I'm very agitated that my post has been up this long and nothing has been done to assist me in this issue. I have a video uploaded on YouTube of me successfully achieving this Trophy, but I have not received any views on it (the 15 views that are on it right now are me when I was editing it). Someone, PLEASE ASSIST!

I just crafted a Large Med Pack and I did not get the achievement.  This is the PC version on bought on Origin.

• When did the Bug occur? Yesterday or the day before
• What did you do before you experienced the Bug (please be as detailed as possible)? I visited a bench on Tau Volantis.  Note that I was offline when this occured.  I tried again the next day while I was online and I had the same result.
• What did you expect to happen?  I crafted a Large Med Pack, but I did not get the Achievement.

This is an EXTREMELY prevalent bug, I've found, online, and I'm having the same problem. On chapter 13, when you fight the boss, the Irachnid thing which you face for the 3rd time, you lead it into the lazers, then mash the torque and it's supposed to be pulled apart. I haven't hacked and nothing abnormal happens prior. Although this is not mine a good example is the video below because it's exactly the problem I have.

The boss simply won't die. I'm mashing the button, lightly tapping it; nothing works. The community has a "fix" in which you lower your graphics settings, but I have tried this and it doesn't work either.

I am having the same problem, I enter the code in console, the console light glows blue, then the portal center lights up. When I approach the

door, the lights go in a circular motion but the door does not open in a circular motion  like I have seen in walk throughs. This has effectively ended

my game as I cannot progress further. Tried restarting last check point and even going back a couple chapters and progressing to the door, nothing works.

I was playing online w/ a buddy (PS3) when all of a sudden my buddy and all moveable objects just disappeared. (enemies, supply crates, etc.)  I turned around and the door i had walked through was completely gone, all i could see was the map background and some flying mountains.  So, curious me decided to walk up to it and i happened to fall through the map and die.  Then i get a loading screen that lasted forever, so i signed out of psn which i usually do when some laggy stuff happens because like in most games, it returns me to the main menu.  Except instead of doing that i chose the keep playing option because i figured i could invite my buddy to my game, but when it reloaded somehow i managed to go all the way back to square one.  i lost  all of my weapons, circuits, upgrades, resources, everything.  The save file actually said 0.0% complete.  Yet when i resume the game, it puts me where i was when the bug occured, which is like halfway through the game. Unfortunately, all i have is the plasma cutter and the machine gun that you start out with, one small healthpack, one stasis recharge, and 40 ammo clips.  This was my new game+ profile but i did so much on that save that my old file is damn near useless.  I had seven maxed out guns, MK-ll and MK-V parts and all, thousands of resources, including tungsten, and now i only have the two guns that i beat the game with on my first playthrough, the evangelizer and the negotiator,  which i get anyway.  Although there is one thing that saved; all of the ration seals i used on that file.  I used hundreds of ration seals and i dont get them back with the old file.  And i only recently figured out how to use them, so i didn't use any that i earned my first playthrough, and now i lost all of them.  So if there is a way to fix this that would be awesome, although i think my file is busted.  

When did the Bug occur?
     When i was entering the area where you fight the big crab guy for the 2nd time.  If you mean date-wise then the same day I'm posting this.
What did you do before you experienced the Bug (please be as detailed as possible)?
     All I did was walk through the door and as the monsters were coming out it happened.
What did you expect to happen?
      I expected to be able to reload the game, but with my game progress

Are you kidding? you really want to know why you can't use a friends save file?  Do you know of any other PS3 games that you can use someone elses save file?
