Unable To Retrieve Information From Origin Error

I'm trying to access the Downloadable content and the CO-OP of Dead Space 3 but every time I get this message: "Cannot retrieve information from Origin".

And if I try to use the lattest version of Origin App, it tells me to use the EA App. What should I do to have access to the full extent of your product?

    Hey All,

    This should now be resolved. If for some reason it is not, please uninstall the game, clear the cache for the EA App, and reinstall.

    If you continue to get the error, reach out to live support so that they can take a look at the game linked to your account!

  • where and or how do we get it patched i bought digital copies of ds3 and the awakened dlc a long time ago last i knew it all worked on origin and then now that its no longer origin when i trie to play dlc it says it cant get information from origin could this be caused bye not having the patch and if so HOW DO WE GET IT

    tested a bit more and noticed all the dlc suits work. the awakened dlc works. the dlc weapon tips work and can be rebuilt. the only issue i seem to have with dlc is weapon frames not building and wasting resources along with the resource packs problem from no connection to origin.

    @Tahu-Umbra Hey, so the ones that don't work from the store have been reported a few times. That one will be tricky if it can be fixed because of how it used to connect to the game. They are aware but any update on these specific ones that get that error may not happen due to the age of the game.

    So I bought the Awakened DLC a week ago on the PC EA Store, and I can't access it because of this Origin server issue.

    So you're saying that you are knowingly selling products on your store that you know people will not be able to use?

    I did submit a ticket about it but got dismissed because it's a DLC product, so no refund, despite never being able to access it.

    @Metriusz Not that I have seen. I had to follow up on this one as it deals with an error directed to Origin. When I get word on this error I will post an update for everyone.
