Unable to Sprint/Run or Aim - PC

Hi! I'm running this game on Steam and I have the sprint and aim bug, I can't sprint and I'm stuck in aim mode. I pickup my weapon and then just get instantly stuck in aiming mode.

On the original, I read it used to be solved by pressing caps lock, but that didn't work in this game.

I have it installed on an SSD so I know that isn't something of an issue!

And when I open my menus, the weapon fires as well!

    Hi @Balkerz @2042suxsh1t,

    Regarding the 'fake' controller feeling, rebinding/clearing the in-game controller bindings should indeed resolve this:

    You have to go into the Controls/Keybinds settings (in-game) and "Clear" every single Controller Button mapped in the Controls options. You press T to clear an action, so just make sure you clear the Controller Buttons and nothing else. Some of the buttons mapped can't be cleared, but clear every single one that you can and the weird feeling should go away.

    Could you give this a try?

    Saw this on reddit and it lets me use the mouse and keyboard.  Unbind all of the controller controls in the customization menu.  I did that and I can run and stomp without issue.  Probably also explains why the Elite controller isn't working but I can play now.

    I think it's an EA Play thing cause I have the issue too. I have a friend who has it on Steam and they have 0 problems.

    Same issue.  Tried everything to get my Elite controller working and then went to trusty Mouse and Keyboard.  Notice sprinting wasn't working and thought maybe it was because of the area I was in.  Got to the section where it says run and Isaac just walked.  Switched the bindings and nothing worked.

    Same problem here.I can't run,can't stomp,can't even go out of aim.Checked every single option and nothing helped unfortunately.I can walk and look around only.

    Just installed Dead Space (2023), been waiting for this forever. however, upon playing the game, i cannot sprint, or stomp. i have checked the key binds and everything is properly set. also wont allow me to use a controller. is this a me problem, or a game problem? and how do i fix it?
