60 item inventory too low can it be increased?

Yes, you can increase your inventory slots to a total of 90.

as they mentioned earlier, through perks, at the war table. 

Antivan Tailoring

each increases your inventory slots by 15.

crafting materials and herbs do not take up inventory slots.

keep yellow items in valuables (creature items) and turn them into your research assisstant (in haven, she is in the same room as Josephine)

in skyhold they are on the second floor above solas' room.

Keep blue and purple items, for weapons and armor, as they may be better than the ones you are using, or if you can craft good items, sell the blue and purple items for a profit.

when exploring, i would suggest -not picking up- grey armor and weapons as they take up inventory slots that you might need. obviously if they are better than what you or your companions are using, by all means pick them up, and sell the lower dps items.
