A fix for the black screen after the save warning.

 it gets me past menu screen and setting up character but wont load past the cards and choosing world state, that's probably my hardware though oh well

Extract files to the DAI folder

Run the injector > add the dual core dll > press the select button > press window list > run DAI (its easier in window mode) > wait for the DAI icon to come up on the windows list and click select when it does > press inject > PROFIT.
You need to inject button hit the inject button  ASAP otherwise it might not work.

If not try turning off auto inject in settings.

I didn't make this so i dont know any of the tech stuff behide it. it was made by Skidrow to fix the same kind problem for farcry4 but it seems to work for DAI to. if you didnt get this to work for you 1st time but got it working after  changing the settings or anything els please post what you did to make it work so others can try it.

FYI - The link above no longer has the Injector file available for download.  Where can I get the Injector rar?  Prefer a mirror that doesn't require registering, etc.

By the way, based on your Proof png, my computer ought to be able to run DA:I, so it'd be nice to try this injector fix.  Thanks for this since we all know the official answer...

where do i find the dualcore.dll it is not oin my list of dlls to chose from

I have the exact same problem. Does the injector only work on a certain version of Dragon Age Inquisition or perhaps it is the CPU that's the problem?

I have a Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 and cannot seem to get it working. I read somewhere that only people with hyperthreading in their CPUs are getting it to work and wonder if perhaps this is not the case.

the hyperthreading is probably your issue.

the game atuamatically allocates 1 out of every two cores to threading.

if your cpu does not support hyper threading, it may not work

an 8 core cpu will be allocated 4 threads by default.
