Alienware Mx17 Graphics Drivers Issue

Question

Anyone run into the driver issue on Alienware mx17 (R4) laptop - Nvidia Drivers are 332.70 but DAI requires 350.52 or later to run. &nbsp;Dell drivers from their site are modified for the laptop and in the past using the standard nvidia ones has broken everything. &nbsp;Dell are not terribly good at updating their drivers for last years model (I had this issue with wolfenstein as well on my old R3). &nbsp; Is there a way around the driver requirement? &nbsp;(and no I won't be buying alienware again - ridiculous a it has the power to ruin the thing well but the drivers are a big fail)

Try the latest Omega Drivers for that thing, and stop buying from Dell, or any other company that hardwires in your dependency on them for drivers.&nbsp;

P. S. A year later -- the author of the Omega modified driver options has given up, as far as I know.&nbsp;

Me too!!!I have the previous model m17x R3 and the videocard recognized is only Intel 3000 graphics, not the RADEON HD 6800.I don't know what to do, and can't play the Battlefront game.

AFAIK, there is no Radeon HD 6800 that meets the minimum level (7850).&nbsp; You can try, of course:
