All armor is too shiny/waxy, patch 10

That's pretty much the whole game as it seems to have gotten some sort of texture boost or something. It also seems like the in game lighting has been slightly boosted as well.

You could tying tuning down the brightness settings or try switching your graphics API - DX11 or whatever NVidia uses.

Try to repair the game in Origin by right clicking and selecting 'repair game'. Have you modified your shortcut in the past to fix the shiny hair before BioWare rolled out an official hotfix? Because that workaround is no longer necessary and is best removed.

Keep in mind that graphics settings only apply after restarting the game.

DirectX is the only supported API for Nvidia users in this game. Unlike AMD, Nvidia doesn't have a custom API.

Thanks, didn't know that since I've never used NVidia graphic cards.

Repair didn't work.  Never modified the command line.

I've gotten used to it, but it certainly isn't pretty...
