All New, Faded for Her, BUGGED!!!

I know there is another post about this very same quest being bugged all to hell, but you know what?  I'm gonna post this one, anyway.  Many, many, MANY other people have this bugged quest crashing the game if they don't approach from a certain direction to check the bodies en route, but NOT one of them mentioned how the game will give you a black infinite loading screen if you opt to just kill the demon instead of taking out the circles.  I tried multiple times, loading previous saves, and nothing.  Every time I kill the demon....poof!  Black loading screen that goes nowhere, forcing me to "end task" the game and restart.  I ultimately had to just take out the circles instead and get Solas' approval when I did not want it in that instance.

I'm not gonna bother being polite or diplomatic about this, considering how SO MANY OTHERS have had problems with this quest and have already made this known.....FOR YEARS!!!!!

What the hell, EA???

SOLVED:  The workaround I discovered was to take out some of the summoning stones (I smashed two of them in this case), then kill the demon.
