Ambush - skill bug

Hi. 

I recently started playing dragon age inquisition again, and started a DW assassins build. After a few hours i applied the ambush perk, but noticed it doesn't work while in stealth. I reloaded some saves but whenever i'm in stealth it doesn't apply the 50% armor penetration. Can someone tell me how to fix this?
