apply store bought CD-KEY to downloaded game?

Just wondering how I would go about applying the CD-KEY I have from the store to a downloaded game. My DVD-Drive isn't working right now and I've just bought a copy. I asked the people at WOW to just add it to my online account and they did, would this be the process with this game? does anyone know?

@nemesis46137 Hey again. You'll need to install and run the Origin app.

You can grab it here: https://www.origin.com/en-ie/download

Log in using the account that was logged in when you consumed the code.

Then within the Origin client there will be 2 main buttons, for the Store or My Games.

Be sure that you're logged into the account you want to play the game on, and after the code is consumed you should be able to download from the My Games page.

Don't mean to sound noob, but where is the "my games" section because I honestly don't see it anywhere under "my account".
