Are EA servers down?

Hi all, I bought DA: Inquisition yesterday and it seems that I can't play the game because I need an activation through the EA servers and I can't connect with them (at least that's what the error says). I found a lot of people on facebook having problems with EA servers in the last days until now, but none of them are talking about Dragon Age, just FIFA and BF4.

So the thing is, I don't know if it's my problem or it's an EA problem. Can someone help me with this? Ty in advance.

  • Lot's of people are having this issue (me included) and EA won't answer anything in any threads about what's going on in this connection / activation issue.. That "checking activation every time game launches" is pointless..

If  the license is checked and confirmed at the time of first launch, that the game is legally bought, then why on earth EA need's to doubt that license every time the game is launched..??? I mean, it doesn't matter much, if it would work 110% of the time, but it's now something more like 10-0%.. That's the most annoying thing of this license activation method..

I don't know if this has something to do with game crashings, because in my case it seems so.. Every time the game crashes it is less likely to be succesfully relaunched untill at some point it won't launch anymore, untill windows is reinstalled along everything else..

"We're unable to connect to EA servers to activate the game on this computer..." Screw that **bleep**!!!
