  • Look at your ability tab, and mouse over the different abilities.  Active abilities such as spells, or fight actions give you that skill, whereas some of the abilities only give passive things such as being harder to hit or doing more damage with a type of spell, and if you mouse over one of the passive abilities you will see in the explanation text at the bottom an attribute + amount.

    For instance, if you are a mage and get the ability that the more spells you cast the faster they will reset, you see something like +3 Magic attribute.  So if you choose this ability, you get 3 points to your Magic attribute and thus become a stronger mage.  You don't have a separate amount of points to add to attributes, you simply have your skill perk points that you choose perks with and thus increase your attributes as a result.

    The glitch I was talking about prevents you from leveling and spending perks points, thus you are forever stuck with the abilities of a level 1 character.

  • @alijavaid87 You don't spend attribute points in Inquisition, you spend points on skills/spells/upgrades and it gives you the skill and usually attribute points listed on the skill. It is a different system from previous games. There is a bug that if you don't open the character screen in the prologue when it tells you to and spend he point then, it forever locks you out of spending perk points. It messes that one character up forever in this, but is easy to not do in simply open character screen and spend the point as soon as it tells you too, which is right before you get to the decision on which path to take up the mountain in the prologue just after closing a rift in front of a door to the vridge.

    @mcsupersportthanks for quick answer.

    I am not sure if i understand you well.

    skill/spell i can unlock but you say i can not spend any spend attribute points in Inquisition at any attribute it does not make any sense because what do you do with the spend attribute points?? i can not spread it manually nor it is done automatically and how do you suppose to become stronger by leveling with your char but very low attribute??
