Having the exact same issue as SongBird.
PS3 version of DAI.
Inside Black Emporium, I'm getting ambience sounds and Xenon dialog. Store sound effects (purchasing) and pulse search sounds NOT playing.
Upon returning from Black Emporium, (whether it be Haven, Skyhold, wherever) the sound completely shuts down. No music, no dialog, no sound effects. Conversations will not progress, and any cutscene dialog usually leads to a black screen with the loading symbol or a complete freeze.
The issue can be fixed by exiting and reloading the game. Leaving the BE via the exit or fast travelling doesn't make any difference.
I use the Emporium every so often to buy schematics or crafting materials, so it'd be nice not to have to reset after every visit. :P
