Black Emporium issue - ps3

So I rolled up a new game a few days ago, saw the black emporium on the PS store when I got jaws of hakkon. I don't seem to have any problems just having it installed, however whenever I actually visit and then leave my sounds all go away, my cut scenes and conversations are all lagged and screwy and when I go to restart the game it freezes on the loading screen. I have to them hot boot my system which I don't like. I know the easy answer is to just not go to the black emporium, but I'd actually like to use it so if there is a fix our something I'd like to do it.

Is this happening to anyone else? My ps3 is about 5 ish years old (the one that came out right after they removed backward compatibility). No other problems aside from the usual game glitches I see people talk about.

Recently started playing the game on the ps3 and I have it too.

  • I'm also having issues with the DLC. Whenever I leave sound and dialogue cuts out, also when I try to reload a different save from this issue, my game freezes and I have to shut off the PlayStation. ☹️

THANK YOU !!! This is literally years behind your post regarding the sound issues with the Black Emporium DLC but believe it or not, I just ran across that download. When I downloaded and installed it on the PS3, I had the same experience as you and was pretty frustrated. Actually that's an understatement, I was really really torqued. I was on the verge of doing a hard factory reset on the thing but thought I'd check online for a solution. Found yours. THANK YOU !!!! Took your advice, visited the Emporium, came out, saved new, restarted, and YAAAAY !!! Everything was cool again. Thank you so much !
