This still hasn't been fixed... I was so excited to finally get to talk to Morrigan, only to have her shatter the canon of my story. This makes me not want to talk to her anymore until they've fixed this, but I guess I don't have much of a choice if I want to continue.
Cheers, BioWare

Well, you don't have to actually talk to her to do the "Find the Hero of Ferelden" quest she gives.. it's just the main story. Now, if the game is already "broken" or not, that I don't know. Depends on if they can fix the flags that it's misreading, or of it reads all the flags and the whole game is set up. Basically, is the world state in the save file or not is the question. THey told me that fixing the bug will not change it in the Keep, but... that doesn't necessarily mean that it won't fix it in the game, but it may not.
As for it not being fixed yet, unfortunately it might be a month or so at least, because bugs take time to fix and test to be sure they are fixed and hopefully don't create any other bugs (which they will). IT sucks, but it's a sad fact of computer software.

Same problem. My warden did not romance anyone had Alisatiar complete the ritual, and then stabbed Morrigan at the end of witch hunt. My jaw hit the floor when she said my warden and her were lovers. Checked my DA keep to make sure I didn't accidentrly select the wrong option and so far every other choice I've imported has been correct. I'll avoid talking to Morrigan as long as possible and hope this gets fixed.

I hope this gets addressed real soon, being extermely annoying and story-breaking imo. And I'll have to start a new game when it comes i guess...

Yeah, I know this. I've no idea how much she'll appear in the main story, but so far she's referred to the Hero of Ferelden as her male lover once in the main story. If she's gonna keep doing this, it will be very annoying.

Well, in my game (I did finally finish it) I reloaded a previous save from right before I talked to her and she would have given that quest, and so I guess it depends on what you consider the main story? Because later she did say "I wish things had ended better with her." implying that yeah, I probably stabbed her. So, other than the completely optional conversation about her son and his father and such, can you verify that she did a gender/relationship swap?
So, if in your game she bugged in other areas on the conversation, that would be good to know hopefully someone at EA/Bioware is monitoring this thread and and can relay our findings for testing.

Isn't it wonderful how they pushed the date back what - - twice and still released this game chock full of bugs and glitches?

I wouldn't say chock full, trust me other companies are worse. *cough*Bethesda*cough*
@whiskasgirl wrote:I came here for the same reason looking for a solution. Everything was all right until I spoke with Morrigan after she shows me the Eluvian. In Origins my dalish warden romanced Alistair and after the archdemon was killed she returned to the wardens. They parted on bad terms with Morrigan (which she has already referred to at the Winter Palace I think) and the dark ritual has never happened. Now 'he' is her lover? Say what again?
The warden stabbing Morrigan really can be the trigger after all. I've never played Witch Hunt but I just checked the Keep and apparently I forgot to change that, so my warden did stab her.
Anyway, the strange thing is after Morrigan gives the "Find the Hero of Ferelden" mission, on the war table they still refer to the warden as 'she'. I'm now hoping that it was a little bug and she really remains the female warden I remember from my game after all...Yeah, it seems the bug is solely with that one conversation where she discusses her son and the events of Witch Hunt. That is interesting about the actual operation though. When I heard Morrigan talk about the Warden being her male lover and father of her child instead of the Queen of Ferelden who stabbed her and her son's father was King Alistair, I didn't even look at the war table, I just reloaded a previous save and avoided speaking to her.
