Bug Report (Where the Druffalo Roam)

i can add to this topic an other thing !

in my game, druffalos don't move ! i'm close to them and there is no interaction !

is this a bug or something ?

Similar problem, except my Druffalo's stuck in the river right next to the Redcliff Farms Camp.

I had the same issue, but I'm not sure it's a bug. I think Druffy simply doesn't cross the river. You'll have to go around.

I know this is old, but this is the first time I've seen someone describe my exact issue.  The Druffalo seems to be suck inside the big rock.  I can't see him anywhere but the quest marker says he's there.  I've left and reloaded the map, done every other Hinterlands quest bar two and gone back to the original spot I found him but no luck.  How did you solve this?

I had the same problem after fixing another bug. Fixed by killing all the druffalo on the farmers ranch until they no longer re-spawned then I went back east across the river to the original location and the druffalo was there again. So had to lead it all the way back again.

How to get this quest completed.

1. Make sure it's active in the Journal

2. Locate the lost Druffalo

3. Toggle run/Walk so that your character will WALK (that is not bound by default so, you need to bind it to a key in settings- key bindings before starting the quest. I use the / key.)

4. Walk all the way back to the pen the Druffalo belongs in. You can cross water but do not jump, do not run, do not go through your Inquisition Camp. (you do not need to click on the druffalo or interact with it, just walk and it will follow.)

YYes it is possible to walk the entire way without jumping up or down and, without going through your camp and, it works perfectly that way, no stuck druffalo. If you have to jump, druffalo will get stuck and, they do not enter camp so, you've got to avoid those things. Walking lets it stay close to you so that it walks where you do, avoiding rocks that would get it stuck.

What can i do if my StuckFallo is inside the wall?

I never had this happen before. What happens if you walk away and come back? Hopefully this resets his her location.

@Thiow;  ^^ Yes try this. ^^

Druffy is supposed to follow you, so get "behind" him and head back toward the river/gully/whatever.  Just *away* from the eventual destination.  He should "unstick" himself and get back to where you can lead him toward his pasture again.  (As @DarkAmaranth1966 said, "Walk, don't run/jump/skip!")

To be honest, I'm not sure why Druffy is considered a prize animal. She's the worst BioWare animal since that cow in Mass Effect that can milk itself and steals your change.
