bugged Dragon loot
I killed the dragon named "Northern Hunter" at crestwood area. But it didn't drop any loot for me. Is this normal?

(ON PC) I fought the one in Hissing Waste. The health bar had nothing in it , "T" didn't see the dragon, and continued hitting didn't show any damage so I assume the dragon is dead. The problem is that the dragon didn't fall over and was still breathing. Since the game erroneously though the dragon was still alive, hence no loot dropped.
BTW I have seen other foes that have died but do not die.
Now the question is why is the game occasionally not recognizing that the mobs are dead
I have killed 3 High Dragons on the PC so far:-
- Hinterlands Dragon - Killed at long range, took a while to find the loot Skull but found it where I did not expect it... near where my mage team was standing rather than where the dragon fell
- Western Approach Dragon - Killed at closer range, loot skull dropped near enough where the dragon fell
- Exalted Plains Dragon - Killed at similar range to the Western Approach dragon, loot skull dropped near enough where the dragon fell
In short, when the dragon falls do a good search of the area - the loot skulls do not always appear where you might expect them to.
