Can't download DLC or patch 1.05 !?

Hi guys,

As I'm having the DLC "unauthorized" problem as everyone else I tried searching how to fix it. One of many answers recommended by EA itself is to download patch 1.05 ( h t t p://social.bioware.com/page/da-patches ), right?  But when i clicked on the download button, this is what I got :

No data received

Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data.
Here are some suggestions:
Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data.
 
 
So......any idea?
 
 
PS.  i had already logged on to the bioware's website and my internet signal is excellent (i just tried to dl it 5 mins ago). Also i tried to dl it with both google chrome and IE but still no hope : /

    While I'm not advocating the use of "unofficial" sources, seeing as EA/BioWare have stopped providing a way for people with the retail disc version to obtain the 1.05 patch, which is cumulative and was the last made, I can understand why one might head to the grey-side in this case.  (Google is your friend...)

    The official answer is likely to run something like this

    "We no longer support any versions of this game except one obtained through EA/Origin. Customers are encouraged to download the game that way, and it will be completely patched upon installation.  The customer's current CD-Key or Product Code is valid for this download provided that the customer had previously registered the game via the BioWare or EA/Origin site.

    If the game was not previously registered, an EA Game Advisor (https://help.ea.com) may be able to assist."

     

    EDIT: That's probably not what people want to hear, but that's where we are.  😞

    @Thandal They have a cumulative totally patched DA O? Some ganers said still have bugs though. I just had a few crashes, until set the affinity. To the person who first asked here, hope u find it

    I didn't say that they had fixed all the issues.  I said that v1.05 is a cumulative patch that includes all the previous patches' fixes, and that v1.05 is the very last patch that BioWare ever produced for DAO.  There hasn't been any more work by the Devs in over five years, and there never will be.

    Yeah, I know. Haven't seen other patches. for me it is ok, just that the affinity needs to be changed

    I have tried to download that patch to no avail so I figured I can at least download Patch 1.04. I have had no problems with that patch. Is there any way I can get that patch? I can't find any other patch but the one that won't download. I have tried IE, Chrome, Fox, and another I don't like to use to no avail. It always times out. I have tried for over two hours thinking it was just a busy server. ai even sent an email to EA, but got nothing in return.
    Any help with the 1.04, please?
