Honestly I have similar feelings. My xbox 360 stopped reading disc two entirely and gives me a disc read error. My cache is clear and my hard drive has plenty of space so this shouldn't be an issue. It also plays other games just fine, so i know it's not an update issue for my console.
I have now tried it on 3 different consoles so it must be the game.

i bought this game at the best buy in michigan i seriously do not understand how ea in good consciense released this game they should ever fix it or recall it this game in unmerchantable i am strongly considering never buying another game from this company ever
