cant talk to npcs to finish quest
I have the 360 inquisition and i cant get dialogue options when i talk to npcs and i can't progress firther without being able to talk to them the dialogue bubble doesnt show up on people for example ...

This happened to me as well. I fixed it by saving then loading the save

Community AdminIndeed, reloading saves and/or quick travelling will usually help "stuck" objects or NPCs. Completely leaving the area and returning may help too.
I know things have changed with the updates since you posted the reply in 2014 (perhaps you don't even work there anymore), but I'm still having this problem with one NPC, Gauld in the village of Crestwood. He turns to face me when I try to talk to him, but he says nothing and no dialog box opens up.
I have tried going away from and coming back to the area, I have tried waiting two days and trying again, I have saved and reloaded, and I have even completely quit the game by going to the Menu, exiting the game then starting again and reloading, but nothing works. I am playing on an Xbox One, by the way.
