Can't unequip Ring in Multiplayer

Hi. I equipped an poison cloud rogue ring (+duration) on my first bow using char but it seems he can never learn this ability. I tried to unequip the ring but can't find how. I have no other ring to replace it. ☹️ (Xbox One)
