Cloud saves on DA:O is running out of space after 1 playthrough

DA:O save games seems too big and it causes origin client to not backing it up after 1 playthrough

can't even start DA:O Awakening since there is no space and the save system is shared with DA:O

not to mention another playthrough, what can be done to reduce space?

  • Delete unnecessary saves.

Personally I have one (maybe two) "working saves" that I overwrite as I progress. If I reach a milestone that I might want to replay I make a fresh save otherwise I try to keep things minimal.

If you have room on your hard-drive you can move/copy character files into another folder; you could also copy them to a disc/USB.

At the end of it all you can only import one of those saves (usually referred to as the "hero save").

  • Just turn off cloud saves tbh.

The amount of space Origin gives you is pitiful that its not worth using.
