Companion stopped approving, stuck on Sera romance because of it
I am currently about 100h in on the game (just finnished "what pride had wrought").
I have been romancing Sera for a while (playing with female elf character), hit the cookies on the roof scene about 30-40h of gameplay earlier. When I hit the "I'm interested in you" heart-option on the special section of the dialogue options she answers that we shuold travel some more together. After that I keep her along all the time gaining some approval, but still gets the same answer when I choose aforementioned dialogue option.
But somewhere along the line i stopped gaining approval (a little bit after crestwood i think) but I kept playing, thinking it was things she didn´t really care about. What i also noticed was that i could get dissaproval and then approval for the same amount again, but then it was stuck again.
Then after the "what pride had wrought" mission I don´t get the greatly approve when I agree it was all lies, but furthermore there is not even the possibility to choose the "I'm interested in you" dialogue option anymore, it´s just not there anymore!
So after this I go back to earlier saves, rushing through the game to try and gain more approval earlier on at every place possible. So I gain a lot of approval that I didn´t get last time, at some places the same dialogue option/choices I made pre-load got approval that I didn´t get the last time (got to thoose places earlier after i loaded). But then after a while it happens again, I stop gaining approval. From what I have deduced from loading the game and re-playing it seems the approval gets capped at a certain level and can´t get higher. And that level is not enough to trigger the romance-option. I even tried to uninstall and then reinstall the game, the issue still remain.
So I really really need help with this, may seem a trivial issue, but I don´t really see any point in playing the game anymore if I can´t play it the way I intend to. It simply isn´t the kind of story I intended for my charcter anymore.
