console mods for dragon age inquisition

I was wondering if Dragon Age Inquisition will ever support mods on consoles (Xbox Series S/X) like Baldur's Gate 3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fallout 4, the Farming Simulator series, Cities: Skylines, Doom (2016), and Doom II.

I do not have a PC and would love to be able to use some of the hairstyles and outfits I see in some gameplay.

@AssissinKnight At the moment there is no plan for official console or PC support for mods. There is more to supporting mods than we can control and something like that takes an enormous amount of partnership, laws, Terms of Service uses, etc. At the moment, any mod use is an at your own risk situation.

I can't speak for EA or Bioware, but the chances of that happening are pretty slim imho.

The game is now over 10 years old and is no longer supported by patches from the studio, nor did Bioware provided mod support in the first place.

Sadly. I would have liked to expand the game's repertoire or rejuvenate something. I'm playing it now for the first time, and although it's aged quite well, it's still a bit old. Of course we can understand, but we hope for some pleasant surprises.

I read once that official mod support is difficult because of licensing. For instance, EA can't give players access to third party tools that they licensed from third parties. Another example was the controversy over Aspyr releasing Knights of the Old Republic II on Switch with the promise of the restored content mod being added at a later date, but Disney cancelled that because of a legal headache.

One thing that can be helpful for game developers is to look at mods to see how a game can be improved. For instance, my favourite Dragon Age Inquisition mod simply removed pickup animations for looting, which makes gathering materials a lot less of a chore. Several games have come out since that support disabling pickup animations (e.g. Horizon Forbidden West), and I think BioWare themselves have opted not to include pickup animations in Veilguard. So it's something at least. Developers look at mods as a source of feedback.
