Controller Unrecognized Game unable to set
Wwent to options and set the game up for Controller. Game will nolonger accept keyboard commands. uninstalled and reinsataled twice. Conler is is all ways set now as defult. Using Logitich Gamepad F710, works on all Uibsoft and Steam games.
To get back mouse and keyboard controls
- Open this file in Wordpad: C:\Users\[your user name]\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age Inquisition\Save\ProfileOptions_profile
- Find the line that reads: GstInput.GamePad 1
- Change it to: GstInput.GamePad 0
- Save
To get game pad controls working
Gamepad controls don't work when more than one gamepad is connected to your PC. Sometimes other devices are mistaken for gamepads, such as gaming mice, gaming keyboards, joysticks, bluetooth adaptors, or other human interface devices. Unplug all extra devices, including your mouse and keyboard (do them one at a time) to find which device is the culprit. If the device is non-essential, unplug it or, if not possible, uninstall it. To uninstall a device (or just view all the devices your PC sees)
- Open Control Panel
- Click "View Devices and Printers" under the "Hardware and Sound" header.
- Find the device you want to uninstall
- Right click and select "Remove Device"
If the device causing trouble is an essential device (mouse, keyboard), try uninstalling the specialized drivers that came with it and using the windows generic drivers. If that doesn't help, you'll need to either play with keyboard and mouse or find a new device until this issue is fixed.
