CPU Usage 99%

This is second time i write on "trouble" senter with NO reply. Do you not care about your paying cosumers @Bioware ?

Just going to pop this in here:

Do you have google chrome open in the background? Because if you do, shut it down.

It has a nasty habit of doing exactly that with the CPU.

If not, just ignore this.

Hi no i don't even use google chrome i use firefox. And i have nothing in background when i play. Also i tryed install game even windows again just to check that.

Also i tryed all the "fixes" that people write on google, nothing helped me :\ it seems to me the game is not stabel at all for PC users, only "lucky" people on who play on PC don't have to much issues, or people who play with graphic on low maybe, but i rather not play the game if i had to do that.

But that said isn't like i have all on ultra even. I use the "automaticly" graphic settings. Also my cpu are never overheating, i have a h100 cooler on cpu, so i checked cpu temp while play its always low. And i have no issues in any other PC games i been playing, only dragon age, so don't think it is my system thats wrong with.

Must be one of the game issues then, newer hardware seems to have... Problems, with DAI for some reason.

Looks like you are one of the people that just has to wait and hope that the patch Bioware is cooking together will fix it.

any chance your card is factory OC?

Does factory OC afect CPU usage?

apparently  frostbite has issues with OC cards even factory OC (happend in BF4 as well),

i didnt know it till today after searching the web like crasy for 7 days i found out the solution, you have to lower your Overclocking.

and it did  do the trick for me without taking anything from my game performance, its very easy you can use MSI afterburner .

What do you mean if my card is factory OC? mean my graphic card or?

Card i have is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 (3 gig ram). Was pretty expencive card but i'm not sure what factory OC means 😛 (had friend help me order pc as i'm not "pro" on those things).

If OC means overclocked infact i think thats what i bough, mean it was already overclocked when i bough it :o

You said "you have to lower your Overclocking" how much? damn i better get my friend who is good with computers to help before try something like that, i don't even know how much it is OC :\

Hey man I have noticed with windows 8.1 also that this game runs reallllly sluggish, something is wrong with Origin as well, if i have it open without opening a game at all, when i move mouse cursor across the desktop it lags out big time. Once I close origin down all of the sudden the cursor lag goes bye bye, further more just so people know about it and perhaps educate themselves on it, in an attempt at stopping piracy of this game EA has implemented a new DRM called Denuvo which is more or less an anti-tampering system set to slow down people from cracking/pirating the game to play for free. This new DRM has been used in lords of the fallen and fifa 15 and seems to be hindering these titles from their full performance, I understand EA wanting to stop people from getting the games for free, but with that being said the anti tampering measures waste space on my hard disk and waste valuable resources that are needed in order to get the maximum performance from the games themselves. I would say that they reallllly need to look at this better and go back to the drawing board and get a patch out ASAP, I would imagine if they fix the issues with origin and the drm most of the sluggish performance issues will be resolved.
