crafting will not attach

I have crafted Vigorous Deflecting Scout Arms which is a medium armor and I am wearing a Hunter Armor which is also medium armor.  The problem is that it is telling me I need to attach this armor(Sco...

    @Chinooka7 Does the armour you're trying to upgrade have a slot to upgrade the arms? Not all armour does.

Hi, yes, my armor has two slots open(arm/leg).  the armor is medium and the crafted on is also medium.  Thanks for helping..
