DA2 asks for Origin activation (Steam)

I already did verify game files on Steam, did not helped, it just directly points me to grey coloured activation window with asks my login details or some code. How do I solve this problem? I also did put up ignored scan list of my Bitdefender AV both online scanning and antivirus scans from scanning game folders I heard that causing problems. Did not helped either. Please lend me a hand I'm having so many problems with EA app recently same as Simcity 3000. I also did clean cache thing.

Please help

    • Make sure EA app and Steam are closed.
    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
    • Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER
    • Delete the "License" folder.
    • Test

  • This thread is a life saver. I butted my head against this problem for hours until I was able to stumble across this solution and it worked flawlessly.

It even worked deleting the License folder when the apps were still turned on too.

    Thank you so much, everyone.
