DA2 doesn't launch
Since getting the new EA Beta application, I haven't been able to launch Dragon Age 2. The other games seem fine. I tried Repair for the Beta and the game, then I tried to uninstall and reinstall for...
If you have AVG or even some other anti-viruses then you may need to put both the install folder for the game AND the new EA Play app into exclusions/white listings. I have also found that being in online mode for DA2 for me means a 6 minute wait for the game to launch once I click on play. It will bring up the "launching popup" and I can close it or not but it will take almost 6 minutes before another popup about cloud saves being full and then I need to click continue with locals saves and finally the game will launch.
BUT I just found out tonight that if I put EA Play into offline mode, the game launches immediately for me.
IF none of this makes any difference, then maybe a DxDiag file may shed some light on your computer and errors happening.
Thank you. I had forgotten to check my anti-virus. Unfortunately, it did not resolve the issue, nor did Offline Mode. How would I go about getting a DxDiag file?

Thanks, I'll send it off to them. Now I'm getting nervous because another game, which worked before with the EA app, stopped working today. Same error message. It's Mass Effect: Legendary Edition. I've sent like three reports through the EA app over the past couple weeks and haven't gotten so much as an acknowledgement email. Does anyone know a way to follow up on this with EA?
