DAI: Can't Loot for Sad Weapon Schematic

I sure hope I'm in the right place, but I can't for the life of me find ANYONE who is having this same problem. (I literally find all of EA's bugs, no joke. ALL of them.)

For context, I already know you can obtain a "Sad Weapon Schematic" in Dragon Age Inquisition from a pile of dung in the Exalted Plains. I've actually crafted this before in previous playthroughs. However, while I was able to obtain all the sad splinters, for some reason I can't actually loot the pile of dung in this new playthrough. I'm finding the exact opposite of this problem when I try to Google it. People find the schematic but can't find the splinters. I have found the splinters but can't get the schematic. I am standing right at the pile of dung, but it doesn't even show up as an option for interaction when I search. It can't be looted! Or interacted with at all! I have checked at the requisition table and have confirmed I don't already have the schematic. 

Is anyone else having this problem??? Like at all? Or am I really the only one?

I'm on Xbox One if that helps.
