DAI keep installing itself to D drive instead of C drive

DAI keep installing itself to D drive instead of C drive. Transferring the file from D drive to C cause it to say it is not installed. If possible, do not want to download it again. Wasted like 4 day retrying

  • Moving files to another drive doesn't work because of the Windows registry.

I believe there's a setting in the Origin client to change your install directory for games. You'll have to reinstall. If you disabled the option to keep installers, then you'll have to redownload as well.

All Origin games will download and install on the drive you've specified when installing Origin. If you want to move them to another drive you can use a Symbolic Link on the original drive/folder to point to the new drive/folder.

It's what I do for all my Origin and Steam games when I want to play them. Move them to the SSD and make a Symbolic Link from the larger HDD where the client has installed them. Then when I'm finished move them back again, freeing up the space for the next game.
