* Set postprocessing in game to Low. (This is the easiest potential fix).
* Change your Nvidia Control Panel settings - Maximum pre-rendered frames ⚽; Power management (Performance); Vsync (adaptive or ON).
* As a last resort, try borderless windowed mode setting in game.
Other performance tweaks (may not be necessary):
* Defragment your hard drive (if it is not an SSD)
* Repair the game.
* Turn off Origin overlay in Origin.
* Play Origin offline (unless you plan on Multiplayer, then you won't be able to do this).

If all else fails, you can try a clean install of your Nvidia and DirectX drivers.
I used to have "device removed" error in Frostbite games as well, but with Mantle instead of DirectX, which a clean install fixed. - ApprovedAnonymous11 years ago
Okay, real quick, how do I repair the game?

Go to My Games in Origin, right click on DAI and there should be a repair option in the list.
