@Fred_vdp gotcha ima try that mod asap thx...but that still leaves the mutes background music sounds and the no thunder sounds in crestwood issue...i do get ambient sounds from npc and environment like birds, etc and even the background music in main menu and t he other minor sounds that occur for in-game menu, etc ...i dont even hear music in Val Royeaux (and even this is another thing no player in certain about apparently...some say it should have a music in background some say it shouldnt...bioware says it certainly shouldnt but players say if theres a sound there means banter would be faster or easier...another stupid part that i shoulda recalled and added in op...ah! well...)
Cheat Engine is a bit glitch when you have Trials (even one) enabled. Cannot travel more than once with CE running and, anything in your table ticked, it travels once that way, crashes second time traveling but, just exit CE, travel, restart CE. No problem.
Some ticks in some CE tables cause the came to crash when loading anything, like into the war room for example. Just make changes, untick then load wherever.
Also be sure you're all up to date on your OS and drivers and, use a current table. (45 half woks but, 49 is better once you can get T3 or T4 mats for crafting.

i see that there r a little too many people having the exact same troubles as I...but the gr8 bioware and EA just have no eyes or ears to notice us little people eh!!
anywho, so i went ahead and tried what was written in there...i havent unlocked hissing wastes on my current playthrough so i went to crestwood and stood as a location a bit away from the water-body in crestwood (had to watch a god-awful horror movie that actually made me laugh outa stupidity instead!!..thx for that too i guess!!). so, the whole 1 hour the main char and the 3 companions just stood there not a 1 word from any of the companions on the place, environment, each other...nothing at all...hell they (companions) are supposed to move a tet-bit around the main character too but not even that...
on the positive side though for like 1 minute or 2 i heard a faint sound of the background music but and then have been waiting for half hour since nd just heard a tiny portion of the music again for a few seconds >.>...also do hear thunder sounds now but irregularly instead of regularly (as many as the amount of lightening..)...whats funny is except the no music and no banters i hear loads of the ambient sounds like dogs barking, birds, wind, etc but surprisingly im standing away from the water-body and still hearing whale sounds loud enough to think that im stand right next to the water-body instead!!

literally shocked.....was just about to go to washroom to pee and heard "it is good of you to join us warden blackwall" (err!...well along those lines by Cassandra to blackwall in crestwood...almost pee-ed in my pants..lol!)...i was like eureka!...eureka!!...then i realized its pretty late in the night atm >.>...
